You can use any yarn to make this doll, just make sure to use correct hook size with your yarn.

Crochet dolls are done with:

1. Main color yarn – Milk. I recommend 55% cotton/45% acrylic 160m (175 yd)/50g (1,75oz) or 100% cotton 50g (1,75oz)/125m (137yd), 1 skein.

Additional color yarn (preferably of the same composition and thickness) – for hairdo and shoes, 1/2 skein
