The pattern is available only in English
The finished toy will be about 15 cm tall.
with Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi) yarn and 2.00 mm crochet hook size (US – B/1; UK – 13)
Difficulty: Easy
Please note that this crochet lion toy can’t stand upright on its own as traditional plastic roly-poly dolls do. The toy has such a name because of its external resemblance to a tumbler.
For stability, a fabric pouch with cherry pits is placed inside the body of a crocheted lion. If you put the toy on a heater, the cherry pits heat up and it can be used as a baby warmer (under adult supervision at all times)
