Onigiri · one-piece chenille amigurumi · PDF in EN / FR / DE / ES

A rice ball in one piece — the nori is a colour block plus a surface band, the hands bobbles, and nothing is sewn on.

What Is It?

Seven increase rounds open a 42-stitch white dome; Rows 8–12 work a 10-stitch nori block with two hand bobbles in Row 12, Row 13 stays straight and six decrease rounds close the flat base. A surface slip-stitch band in nori wraps Row 13, and the top is pinched into a soft triangle.

Why 'No-Sew'?

Because the whole toy is one continuous piece:

  • One white dome with nori block and hand bobbles, closed flat
  • Surface slip-stitch nori band picked up from the stitches — zero sewing
  • kawaii food lover gift, 19 rounds

No tapestry-needle assembly, no lopsided parts.

What Do I Need?

  • Super Bulky / Category 6 chenille yarn — rice white, nori green, charcoal, blush pink
  • 3.5 mm hook, fiberfill, stitch marker
  • 8 mm safety eyes (embroidered-eye option included for children under 3)

How Big, How Hard?

10.0 cm / 3.9 in tall · 19 rounds · confident beginner — single crochet, increases, decreases and a few tall stitches, all explained with photos.

What'S In The Download?

Four PDF files, one per language — English (US terms), French, German and Spanish — 9 pages each. Inside: materials list, abbreviation table, the techniques used, all rounds written out with stitch totals, step photos, placement checks for the face and parts, finishing and a troubleshooting page. A4, real searchable text.

Please note before buying: the listing photos and PDF photos are digital renders made with AI image tools from our own design, under our direction. Everything you actually crochet from — the rounds, counts and instructions — is our own written work, checked stitch by stitch. Designed by FullAmigurumi.

How Do I Get It?

Instant download: as soon as payment clears you receive a branded FullAmigurumi delivery PDF with your download links and QR codes (also available under My Account > Downloads). Save the files to your phone, tablet or computer — the links never expire.
