Proud Rooster is an original rooster crochet pattern for a posable wire-frame amigurumi rooster, about 25 cm / 10 in (with tail) tall. A proud rooster with a curling red-and-green tail, bright comb and a stance that says he owns the farmyard.

Materials
- "Narcissus" yarn — cotton thread, 100 g / 395 m per skein. Colours: red, brick, dark green, light green, lime green, orange, yellow, lemon, white. For the grass: white sewing thread no. 40 and a green yarn — different in texture and colour, but similar thickness — the key point is that it is a different shade of green (not the same as on the rooster). YarnArt SUMMER — cotton 70% + viscose, it does not spring back and works well for crocheting grass.
- Hook no. 1.75 (Clover).
- Fiberfill.
- Wire for the wire frame. For the tail — thin wire in 5 feathers, thick wire in the legs, going into the base.
- Cardboard, tape.
- 2 beads (eyes), 2 green seed beads, flowers, 2 teardrop beads. Abbreviations.
Skill level
Intermediate: single crochet, increases and decreases, working in a spiral and crocheting around a wire frame. Each step is shown in a photo.
